Kenya’s electric mobility sector is expanding rapidly, creating new opportunities for young technicians ready to build careers in clean transport. To support this growth, the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), in partnership with the WTS Foundation, is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring professionals: the Assistant Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician Up-Skiller Program.
This industry-driven program is designed to equip participants with practical, hands-on skills needed in today’s EV ecosystem. Trainees will gain foundational knowledge in EV maintenance, high-voltage safety, battery systems, and charging infrastructure—skills that are increasingly in demand as more EVs enter the Kenyan market.
Training Details
- Dates: 26 January - 13 February 2026
- Location: NITA Nairobi
- Application Deadline: 28 November 2025
The program is open to Kenyan youth aged 18–35 with relevant technical training or experience. As part of efforts to promote gender inclusion in the EV industry, female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
NOTE: Qualifying Candidates PAY KSH 8,000/-.
